Arthur Savage knighted by Queen of Denmark
Tampa, FL – (February 18, 2002) – Tampa resident Arthur R. Savage, who serves as Consul of Denmark for Central Florida, was appointed Knight of the Order of Dannebrog by Her Majesty Queen Margarethe II of Denmark on January 1, 2002.
Ambassador Michael M. Moerch, Consul General of Denmark, travelled from the Danish Consulate General in New York to present the award at The University Club in Tampa on February 11, 2002.
Mr. Savage is president of the Tampa-based shipping firm A.R. Savage & Son, Inc., and he also serves as Consul of Norway and Passport Representative of Sweden.
