• Air-Conditioned – The main deck cabin and pilothouse offer air- conditioning for the ultimate in passenger comfort. With the touch of a finger, the temperature can be set to the ideal for any time of year.
• Galley & Bar - Located in the aft section of the main deck cabin this convenient galley and bar location offers plenty of storage and preparation space to serve 149 passengers without delay and does not obstruct passenger's views.

Operational Efficiencies: The Friendship IV was originally selected, in part, because of its superior operational efficiencies:
• The vessel carries the maximum capacity of passengers (149) for complying with selected United States Coast Guard, Subchapter "T" regulations and only requires a total of three (3) crewmembers.
• The vessel travels at 29 knots fully loaded using just two (2) diesel engines totaling 2,570 horse power and burns just 120 gallons of fuel per hour total! The ratios of 17.2 horsepower per person and 4.1 gallons per mile or .03 of a gallon per passenger mile are very low in relation to other vessels that go much slower and burn more fuel. Other benefits include cost savings in fuel, oil and maintenance.
Vessel History: Since its purchase in October of 1995 by Fast Ferry Holding company, Friendship IV has undergone continuous upgrades to the interior, exterior and mechanical elements:
• VCR and television monitor system
• Re-arrangement of seating
• Trimble Differential GPS System
• Air-conditioning
• Retail cabinetry added to the galley area
